Organizing is about taking what feels overwhelming and making it manageable: finding your way to solutions that are functional, personal, and maintainable. Whether it's a chaotic closet, a new home, or a multi-step project that feels daunting to start, I can help you create systems that feel better and actually work for you — so you can stop thinking about what you need to do and focus on what you want to be doing.

Services

Home Organizing

Your home should feel like a place you want to be. When it doesn't, when you're avoiding that closet or dreading walking into a room, that weight follows you everywhere. I work with you to make spaces both functional and beautiful, room by room, at whatever pace feels manageable. It's not just about where things go. It's about creating a space that works for how you live and feels good to be in. You'll leave each session with a home that genuinely functions and looks the way you want it to, as well as systems you can maintain on your own.

This can include:

  • Sorting through your belongings together: deciding what to keep, what to let go of, and finding the right place for everything that stays
  • Finding the right storage solutions to make your space work better
  • Designing rooms to be both functional and beautiful: planning layouts, sourcing decor, and choosing furniture that makes a space feel complete
  • Working hands-on or coaching from the sidelines, whatever feels right for you
  • Getting ready for a new baby: setting up nurseries, organizing gear, and reworking your space for your growing family
  • Tackling that pile of paperwork: sorting, filing, and safely getting rid of what you don't need
  • Coming back regularly to keep things running smoothly, with seasonal refreshes as your life changes

Moving Support

The shipping container finally arrives, and suddenly your home is wall-to-wall boxes. You know everything you own is in there somewhere, but the thought of unpacking it all, finding places for everything, and getting properly settled feels overwhelming. I'll help you work through it methodically: unpacking room by room, organizing as we go, and setting up your home so it works well from the start.

If you're arriving with just suitcases, that's a whole different kind of overwhelming. You're figuring out what goes in a kitchen, what furniture will fit, where to even find things, all while trying to settle into a new country. I'll help you cut through the noise, figure out what to tackle first, and build a home that truly works from the start.

This can include:

  • Helping you unpack room by room in priority order (kitchen first, then bedrooms, then living spaces)
  • Setting up your kitchen: organizing cabinets, drawers, and pantry so everything has a logical home
  • Arranging furniture and deciding on layouts that work for how you'll use each room
  • Organizing closets, hanging clothes, and setting up bedroom storage
  • Making a prioritized shopping list for what you still need (essentials first, nice-to-haves later)
  • Researching where to buy what you need and helping you figure out what furniture will fit before you buy it
  • Coordinating with moving companies or delivery services
  • Helping you decide what to keep vs. sell or donate if furniture doesn't fit your new space

Administrative Organization

Administrative tasks pile up fast, whether it's files you can't find, paperwork sitting in your inbox, or systems you've been meaning to set up. When your computer's a mess and the admin keeps piling up, it's just as draining as a cluttered room. I'll help you tackle it all: organizing your digital spaces, setting up systems, and getting through the work you've been avoiding. I'll bring the same approach to your screen: sorting, simplifying, and setting up systems that make sense for how you work. Available virtually or in person.

For your home:

  • Organizing files and folders, setting up cloud storage, and decluttering digital spaces (email, desktop, downloads)
  • Creating systems for managing digital paperwork, receipts, and records
  • Building spreadsheets to track household expenses and budgets
  • Navigating paperwork, applications, or multi-step processes sitting on your to-do list

For your business or practice:

  • Breaking down complex projects into manageable steps you can execute
  • Setting up systems for recurring tasks: billing, invoicing, client communication, scheduling
  • Creating workflows that save you time on administrative tasks
  • Building spreadsheets to track business operations and expenses

In-person sessions available in Leiden and within approximately 30 minutes travel. Virtual sessions available worldwide.

FAQ

What does a professional organizer do?

A lot of different things, depending on what you need. I can help you figure out creative storage solutions, work through a declutter, redesign a room that's not working, or just be there as a calm, focused presence while you make decisions about what stays and what goes. Every project looks different. Our discovery call is where we'll talk through what's weighing on you and figure out where to start.

What does a Home Organizing session look like?

Before our discovery call, I'll ask you to send photos or videos of the space so I can see the scale of the project and come prepared. During the call, we'll talk through your main goals for our time together and what your priorities are if we can't tackle everything in one session.

I keep a collection of affordable organizing supplies (bins, baskets, bags, labels, etc.) that I can bring and include in the session price. If we need anything specific for your project, I can source it beforehand so we're not wasting time shopping during our session.

On the day, we start by pulling everything out so we can see what we're working with. We sort items into categories: keep, donate, trash, and relocate (things that belong in a different room). You make the decisions about what stays and what goes. I'm there to ask the right questions, keep us moving, and offer a neutral perspective when you're stuck.

Once we've edited down to what's staying, we organize everything back in a way that makes sense for how you use the space. I'll set up systems that are easy to maintain, label what needs labeling, and show you how to keep it working long-term.

At the end of the session, we'll do a quick walkthrough, and I'll leave you with any notes or reminders about maintaining the system. If there's more to do, we can schedule a follow-up session.

What does Moving Support include?

Moving Support looks different depending on your situation.

If you're arriving with just suitcases or moving into an unfurnished place:

  • Making a prioritized shopping list: absolute essentials first, nice-to-haves later
  • Researching where to buy what you need (IKEA, Blokker, Hema, secondhand options, specialty stores)
  • Helping you figure out what furniture will fit in your space before you buy it
  • Sourcing kitchen basics, linens, and household essentials
  • Accompanying you on shopping trips if helpful, or handling it independently with your budget and preferences
  • Setting up each room as items arrive so you're not living in chaos for months

If you're unpacking from a move (local or international):

  • Helping you unpack room by room in priority order (kitchen first, then bedrooms, then living spaces)
  • Setting up your kitchen: organizing cabinets, drawers, and pantry so everything has a logical home from day one
  • Arranging furniture and deciding on layouts that work well for how you'll use each room
  • Hanging clothes, organizing closets, and setting up bedroom storage
  • Creating a "still need to buy" list based on what's missing once everything is unpacked
  • Setting up home office or workspace if you're working from home

Both scenarios can include:

  • Helping you decide what to keep vs. sell/donate if you have too much or wrong-sized furniture for your new space
  • General setup support and guidance wherever needed

How long is a session?

Each session is three hours minimum. That gives us enough time to make meaningful progress without burning out. Organizing is more emotionally and physically tiring than people expect, and that's totally normal. We'll take breaks when you need them.

Do I need to be home during sessions?

Not necessarily. If you give me clear direction and stay reachable by phone or text, I can work on my own. The one thing I won't do is make decisions about your personal belongings without you, so if we're decluttering you'll need to be there for at least that part.

How many sessions will I need?

I'll give you an honest estimate during our discovery call once I understand what we're working with. Generally speaking, one cluttered room usually takes one to two sessions. It depends on how much stuff there is and how quickly you like to make decisions.

What should I do to prepare?

Nothing. Don't clean up before I get there, that's what you're hiring me for. It can be helpful to have some basics on hand like storage containers, hangers, and trash bags, but if you're not sure what to get just ask me during our call and I'll tell you exactly what would help.

How and when do I pay?

Payment is due at the end of each session via Tikkie or IBAN. For bigger projects or multiple sessions, I ask for half upfront to hold your spot.

What is your cancellation policy?

Please give as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the session are subject to a 50% cancellation fee.

What is your refund policy?

Payments are non-refundable.

About Found
Order Co.

I'm Flavia and I live in Leiden with my husband and two young kids. Growing up in New York City, every square foot of space counted. Luckily for my parents, I was that kid who organized cupboards for fun. I've never lost that satisfaction of walking into a chaotic space and knowing exactly how to make it work. I also know what it's like to move to a new country and build a home from scratch, that unsettled feeling that lingers when a new place doesn't quite feel like home yet. That's why Found Order Co. exists. Getting organized shouldn't be one more thing on your already-full to-do list. I'm here to take it off your plate.
